Valladolid, Spain is an impressive and monumental city. This is one of the most beautiful and impressive buildings in Europe. Beautiful architecture and amazing fountains. It has the potential to be a major tourist attraction if is open to the public.
The facade of the Academia de Caballeria is very impressive and it is a very large building that is best seen from across the street. The building is quite close to downtown and one can easily walk to it. Lovely view with park opposite, the fountains are a great photo opportunity for anyone visiting the city.
Beautful buiding with great architecture; you can visit the buidilng and museum inside with great collections, you are inside a place where you can breathe the pride and love of a country - Really nice to see. Although we were not able to go in, I have heard that on special days or with the escort of an official it is possible to see the inside.
We were also told that the inside is not as impressive as the outside. This is I visited the local area - passing through from Campo Grande in Feb The academy itself is a military academy so likely they often won't open to the public but you can get some amazing photos closeby, starting from around the local water features This is an active military building.
That means that the inside cannot be visited by tourists but the outside and the environment are very good. Due to the fiesta of the Virgin going on when I was there I was not able to go inside to see everything, but it is truly impressive to look at, as it is the Headquarters of the Spanish Cavalry.
