An amorous couple who could not keep their hands off each other have sparked controversy on Chinese social media. A passenger sitting opposite the couple posted the images on Weibo, the Chinese version of Twitter, reported the People's Daily Online. Can we just be a little more considerate in public? Someone has to do something about this. Other social media users have also jumped on board to criticise the couple's behaviour. One person wrote: 'There is a lot of hugging and kissing in public but this is a bit too much!
If children see them, how can their parents explain? Police in Shenyang have said in a statement on Weibo that they are not going to investigate the couple, as their actions are 'not against the law'. The incident comes after a sex tape filmed by a couple in a Uniqlo store in Beijing went viral in China last week. Five people have been arrested in connection with the Uniqlo video.
