Emailing was efficient and personalised good english giving sound options and up to date information. I would have booked everything with them but for another agent being faster to reply and me committing with him not a good decision - lots of hassle!
To give Aladin tours the 'consolation prize' I booked several half day tours out of Luxor and an Abu Simbel trip out of Aswan. They took credit card details for a deposit but did not take it. When I paid in Luxor I assumed by card was OK but they preferred cash, but accepted the card without pressing there preference I was low on cash.
The planned tours went like clockwork, from picking me up from the Cairo sleeper train at hr to dropping me off at my hotel. My guide for Luxor, Mansour Hussein, was excellent - timely, efficient, energetic, good english, great egyptologist answered all my awkward questions about the history and modern life in Egypt and friendly.
Some of my other gudes were good, but Mansour was the best! They connected with me at my hotel in Aswan to confirm the unearthly start point at hr, and again all went like clockwork. Good guide who explained the temples in context and answered all my, by then, deep questions. Excellent, trustworthy and efficient service.
