Rooms need knocking down and starting again I would have preferred a tent on the beach, the lounge bar outside the hotel supplying prostitutes to seedy men in hotel. After looking at the photos I decided this looked like a beautiful hotel..
For somebody who works with British tourists in the tourism industry, I know how much we like to moan and complain. So I went anyway. Let me tell you, for what I paid this went above my expectations. You can tell the hotel has had it's prime days, but it's still a cute little property.
Whilst It may be old, the cleaners are always working around the clock to keep the gardens and rooms clean. It rained whilst I was there and somebody emptied my little pot every hour. The rooms are clean enough, old fashioned but kept well for the age of them. English, French and Moroccan channels. And people complaining that there are cockroaches everywhere - well hello - you're in Morocco not England. Would you complain if there was a fly or spider in your house?
Yes my room has had a few bugs in but it's because they keep the windows open for fresh air, once you close the window nothing else is going to come in. So here is the best part: I was expecting rude, arrogant, selfish staff as all of these words have been mentioned. They have been nothing but super helpful to myself, kind and friendly, the garden staff, maintenence, reception.
